Nonprofit Software Discounts and Black Friday 2026 Offers

No nonprofit-specific Black Friday 2026 offer is confirmed yet. The bigger savings are standing nonprofit discounts: Google Workspace and Salesforce give core licences free, Slack and Canva give free tiers to eligible nonprofits, and Microsoft, Zoom, Asana and Notion discount paid plans. We add Black Friday offers here as vendors confirm them.

Status, 13 October 2026: we have not confirmed a nonprofit-specific Black Friday offer on any vendor’s own website. Black Friday is Friday 27 November 2026, Cyber Monday is 30 November and GivingTuesday is 1 December. Until offers appear, this page lists the standing nonprofit discounts you can claim today, each checked on the vendor’s own page.

For most nonprofits these standing programmes save far more than a Black Friday sale ever would, and they renew every year rather than once. Terms below are quoted as each vendor’s page stated them on 13 October 2026; prices can differ by country, so check the vendor’s page for your region before you apply.

The conditions that matter

  • Google: needs a Google for Nonprofits account. Enterprise is listed at “70%+ off standard pricing” with no price shown.
  • Salesforce: the 10 free licences are Nonprofit Cloud Core. Paid editions listed on the page run from Sales and Service Core at $70 to Sales Max and Service Max at $285 per user a month, billed annually. Our Salesforce Nonprofit Cloud pricing guide covers them in detail.
  • Canva: its eligibility guidelines exclude government bodies, for-profits including B Corps and social enterprises, trade associations and grant-making foundations.
  • Slack: excludes religious and political organisations, schools, government bodies, hospitals and grant-making foundations. Enterprise workspaces of 1,000 or more members can contact Slack.
  • Zoom: eligibility is verified by Goodstack and excludes education, healthcare, government and 501(c)(4) and 501(c)(6) organisations.
  • Asana: the page says the discount lasts “forever unless you choose to leave Asana” and excludes hospitals. Check which plans it applies to on the page before you buy.
  • Notion: the page we read says “this program is only eligible for the Business Plan”. Some other copies of the page mention a different plan, so check the page for your region.
  • Mailchimp: request the discount through billing support before buying; Mailchimp says it cannot give retroactive discounts. Its page does not say whether the 15% repeats.
  • Keela: new customers only, with an extra 30% off add-ons bought with a CRM subscription, and the demo must be booked through the TechSoup page.

Black Friday 2026: what to expect

Mainstream software companies rarely add a separate Black Friday deal for nonprofits on top of their standing programmes, and on 13 October none had announced one. Nonprofit-only tools, such as fundraising platforms and donor CRMs, sell only to nonprofits, so a “nonprofit discount” does not apply to them, and their season tends to be GivingTuesday on 1 December rather than Black Friday. We will check the main fundraising and donor management vendors’ pricing pages in mid-November and list anything we can confirm. For the wider Black Friday picture, see our AI tools Black Friday deals page.

Things most nonprofit discount lists get wrong

  • Zoom left TechSoup. Zoom’s announcement, dated 1 May 2025, moved its nonprofit discount to Zoom Cares. Lists that still send you to TechSoup for Zoom are out of date.
  • Canva is free for one team, not unlimited. The free Pro access covers up to 50 users; extra seats are half price on Enterprise.
  • Not every SEO tool discounts. Ahrefs’ help centre says it does not offer nonprofit pricing or seasonal sales.
  • Mailchimp’s discount must be requested first. It is not applied automatically and cannot be backdated.

How to claim most of these

  1. Have your registration documents ready. Most programmes ask for proof of charitable status, such as 501(c)(3) in the US or your country’s equivalent.
  2. Verify once through the partner. Google uses Google for Nonprofits, Zoom uses Goodstack, and Adobe and Keela go through TechSoup. A verified profile speeds up later applications.
  3. Apply before you buy. Several vendors, Mailchimp among them, cannot apply a discount to a purchase you have already made.
  4. Check the exclusions. Schools, hospitals, government bodies and grant-making foundations are commonly excluded.
  5. Diary the renewal. Some discounts apply to the first year only, such as Keela’s 20%.

Frequently asked questions

Are there Black Friday deals on nonprofit software in 2026?

Not yet. As of 13 October 2026 we had not confirmed a nonprofit-specific Black Friday offer on any vendor’s own site. Fundraising and donor management tools tend to promote around GivingTuesday, 1 December 2026, rather than Black Friday. We add offers here as vendors confirm them.

What software can nonprofits get for free?

On vendors’ own pages on 13 October 2026: Google Workspace for Nonprofits at $0 per user, 10 Salesforce Nonprofit Cloud Core licences at no cost, Canva Pro for one team of up to 50 users, Slack Pro for workspaces of 250 members or fewer, and Adobe Express. Each has eligibility rules.

Does Zoom still give nonprofits a discount through TechSoup?

No. Zoom’s nonprofit discount moved to its own Zoom Cares programme, announced on 1 May 2025: 50% off select products, annual plans only, for nonprofits with operating budgets of $10 million or less.

Does Mailchimp have a nonprofit discount?

Yes. Mailchimp says it offers a 15% discount to verified nonprofits and charities, which you must request before buying a marketing plan; it cannot apply the discount retroactively. Its help page does not say whether the discount is one-time or recurring.

Is Black Friday or GivingTuesday better for nonprofit software deals?

For mainstream tools such as Microsoft, Google or Slack, the standing nonprofit discounts are usually larger than any seasonal sale. Nonprofit-only tools such as fundraising and donor CRMs tend to run their promotions around GivingTuesday, which falls on 1 December 2026.

How do nonprofits verify eligibility for these discounts?

Most programmes need proof of registered charitable status, such as 501(c)(3) in the US or the local equivalent, and many verify through a partner: Google for Nonprofits, TechSoup or Goodstack. Each vendor also lists exclusions, often schools, hospitals, government bodies and grant-making foundations.

Does Ahrefs offer a nonprofit discount?

No. Ahrefs’ help centre says it does not currently offer special pricing, discounts or free access for nonprofits, and it does not run seasonal sales.

Can vendors add a nonprofit offer to this page?

Yes. Vendors can submit an offer through our Black Friday submit page. We only list an offer once we can confirm it on the vendor’s own website, and links on this page are plain links that earn us nothing.
