Chorus by ZoomInfo Review (2026): The Standalone Product Is Gone
Quick answer: Chorus is a conversation intelligence tool now sold as part of ZoomInfo. Its own domain, chorus.ai, redirects to a ZoomInfo product page. Pricing is custom and form gated. If you are comparing it as a standalone product against Gong, you are comparing the wrong thing. Checked 12 August 2026.
The thing to know before you evaluate it
Type chorus.ai into a browser today and you do not land on a Chorus website. You land on zoominfo.com/products/chorus, under ZoomInfo branding, with a ZoomInfo navigation bar. The standalone brand has been absorbed into the parent.
That is not a trivia point. It changes the purchase in three ways.
You are buying into ZoomInfo, not alongside it. Chorus is a module. The commercial conversation, the contract and the account team are ZoomInfo’s.
The value case shifts. Chorus’s strongest argument is no longer “best conversation intelligence”. It is “conversation intelligence wired into the ZoomInfo data you already pay for”. If you do not run ZoomInfo, that argument does not apply to you.
Comparisons written before the absorption are stale. Most of the Chorus versus Gong content online predates this and treats them as two standalone platforms competing on features. That is no longer the shape of the decision.
How we researched this
We did not run Chorus. This is a research based review from ZoomInfo’s own published pages, read on 12 August 2026. It is not a hands-on test and we do not score it.
What Chorus does
The published feature set is solid, conventional conversation intelligence:
- Unlimited call recordings and transcriptions, available within minutes of a call ending
- Contextual trackers that surface moments automatically, such as next steps, pricing discussion or common objections
- Proactive coaching recommendations delivered to a manager’s inbox rather than requiring them to go looking
- Deal intelligence for forecasting and pipeline visibility
- Relationship intelligence, aggregating contacts and interactions back into the CRM
- Analytics and reporting with more than twenty out of the box reports
The unlimited recording and transcription is worth noting. Several competitors meter this.
The product page also states that Chorus is “backed by 14 technology patents” and describes it as the fastest growing conversation intelligence product in existence. The patent count is checkable; the growth claim is marketing and we have not verified it.
Pricing
Not published. ZoomInfo offers custom plans and the pricing route is a lead form.
That puts Chorus with the majority. Of twelve platforms we checked in this category on 12 August 2026, only Yoodli publishes a price. Full comparison in our best AI sales coaching software guide, and the numbers for the one vendor that does publish are in our Yoodli pricing guide.
The specific thing to establish on a Chorus call is whether it can be bought without a broader ZoomInfo subscription, and if so what that costs relative to the bundle. We could not determine this from published material.
Who it is for
Existing ZoomInfo customers, straightforwardly. The integration with data you already own is the entire case, and it is a good one.
Everyone else should look at Gong first, which is the category default and is still sold as its own platform, and at Allego if breadth matters more than depth. Chorus also appears in our best AI sales training software and AI sales roleplay tools roundups.
What we could not verify
Transcription accuracy, tracker quality, and whether Chorus can be licensed independently of ZoomInfo. All the feature descriptions above are the vendor’s own. We have not tested any of them.
