BoldTrail Pricing (2026): What kvCORE’s Successor Really Costs

BoldTrail is three legacy price tags wearing one trench coat. kvCORE became BoldTrail Platform, Brokermint became BoldTrail BackOffice, and BoomTown customers are being moved into the same ecosystem, in at least one reported case without realizing what they were signing. Meanwhile, the official pricing page contains exactly zero dollar figures.

If you are budgeting before the sales call, that is a problem. Every page 1 result for “boldtrail pricing” either hides the number behind a demo form or recycles 2024 kvCORE figures as if the rebrand never happened. So we did the mapping ourselves: what the official site actually says, what third parties report for 2026, what the legacy kvCORE numbers were, and where the contract gotchas live. Every figure below is labeled official or reported, with a date.

BoldTrail publishes no prices. Reported 2026 estimates: solo agents around $499 per month, teams of 5 to 10 from $499 to $999, 25 plus users $1,499 to $2,500, enterprise $2,500 to $5,000 plus. Setup is reported near $999, ad spend is billed separately, and every number is quote-dependent.

BoldTrail pricing at a glance

Here is every figure we could pin down, with its sourcing status. Nothing in this table comes from an official BoldTrail price list, because no official price list exists.

Line item Reported figure (2026) Official vs reported Source and date
Published price list None. Demo-gated form only Official boldtrail.com pricing page, checked 2026-07-17
Solo agent ~$499/mo, explicitly directional Reported The Pro Toolkit 2026-04-01, corroborated AgentAdvice 2026-04-07
Team, 5 to 10 users $499 to $999/mo Reported Luxury Presence 2026-05-14
Team, 25 plus users $1,499 to $2,500/mo Reported Luxury Presence 2026-05-14
Enterprise brokerage $2,500 to $5,000 plus/mo Reported Luxury Presence 2026-05-14
Setup / onboarding ~$999 one time Reported estimate ITQlick and DMR Media 2026, not on any official page
Implementation $1,000 (1 to 10 users) to $5,000 (~100 users) Reported estimate ITQlick and DMR Media 2026
Ad spend Separate, can exceed the base subscription Reported Luxury Presence 2026-05-14
Contract terms Quote-specific: term, renewal, early termination all vary Reported Luxury Presence 2026-05-14
Legacy kvCORE (pre-rebrand) $499 to $1,800/mo Reported, stale The Close 2024-06-05, pre-rebrand context only

Read that middle column carefully. In two years of covering proptech pricing, from Ylopo to Lofty, we have not seen a platform this size with this little official pricing disclosure. That is not automatically a red flag, quote-only pricing is common at the brokerage tier, but it does shift all the diligence work onto you.

The official pricing page has no prices

BoldTrail homepage
BoldTrail homepage

Start with what BoldTrail itself says, because it is the only official source. The pricing page, checked on 2026-07-17, is a demo request form. No dollar figures, no tier names, no per-user rates. Packages are “Configured Your Way” through a short quiz that routes you to a sales conversation.

What the official site does confirm is the product structure. BoldTrail sells four lines:

  • BoldTrail Platform: the core CRM, websites, and lead engine. This is the next generation of kvCORE.
  • BoldTrail BackOffice: transaction management and commission automation. This is the next generation of Brokermint, and the login still points to my.brokermint.com, so the old infrastructure is alive under the new badge.
  • BoldTrail Recruit: agent recruiting and retention analytics, formerly AmpStats.
  • BoldTrail Marketplace: the add-on and integrations layer.

Your quote is some combination of these, sized to your headcount. Which is why every reported figure below comes with a spread rather than a single number: two teams of the same size can walk away with different bills depending on which modules made it into the configuration.

Reported BoldTrail pricing by team size

With no official rates, the best available picture comes from third-party buyer guides that talk to actual customers. The most consistent 2026 breakdown comes from Luxury Presence (published 2026-05-14), with solo figures corroborated by The Pro Toolkit (2026-04-01) and AgentAdvice (2026-04-07).

  • Solo agent: around $499 per month. Both sources flag this as directional rather than a quoted rate. If you are a single agent, you should also ask whether you need the full Platform or whether a lighter CRM stack from our best AI tools for real estate agents roundup covers you for less.
  • Small team, 5 to 10 users: $499 to $999 per month. The spread mostly tracks how many BackOffice and Marketplace add-ons land in the build.
  • Mid-size team, 25 plus users: $1,499 to $2,500 per month.
  • Enterprise brokerage: $2,500 to $5,000 or more per month. At this tier the quote is genuinely bespoke, and BackOffice (commission plans, agent billing, accounting integrations) is usually the reason brokerages pick BoldTrail over lead-gen-first rivals, a tradeoff we break down in CINC vs BoldTrail.
Faz says: When a vendor quotes you a range this wide, the range is the negotiation. Ask what a 10 user team with your exact module list paid last quarter. Reps have that number, and asking it early signals you have done the reading.

Setup, onboarding, and implementation fees

No official page lists a setup fee. Third-party 2026 estimates from ITQlick and DMR Media report a $999 onboarding fee, with implementation costs scaling from about $1,000 for a 1 to 10 user rollout to roughly $5,000 at around 100 users. Neither figure appears on any official BoldTrail page, so treat both as estimates and get your onboarding cost itemized in the quote.

One practical note from the reported figures: implementation scales with users, so a brokerage migrating 80 agents should budget setup as a four-figure line item, not a rounding error. If data migration from a legacy system (BoomTown, an old kvCORE instance, or a third-party CRM) is part of your project, ask for the migration scope in writing too. The complaint record below shows why.

Ad spend comes on top

BoldTrail subscriptions do not include advertising budget. Luxury Presence’s 2026-05-14 breakdown is blunt on this point: ad spend is billed separately, and for teams running serious lead generation it can exceed the base subscription itself.

So a 10 user team at a reported $999 per month platform fee, running even a modest $1,000 per month in paid lead gen, is really budgeting $2,000 plus per month, or north of $24,000 per year before implementation. That is the honest comparison number to hold against alternatives, and it is the same all-in math we run across the category in best AI tools for real estate brokerages.

What AI you are paying for

Since the AI features are usually the reason readers ask us about BoldTrail at all, here is what the official site names, verified 2026-07-17:

  • BoldTrail AI Assistant: the agent-facing assistant layer inside the CRM.
  • HomeSearch AI: natural language home search on the consumer-facing websites, which BoldTrail bills as the most engaging home search experience in real estate. That is a vendor claim, and we have not independently benchmarked it.
  • Smart CRM: behavioral scoring and prioritization inside the Platform.
  • Marketing Autopilot: automated listing and nurture marketing.

What no official page tells you is which packages include which AI features, because packages are quote-configured. Before you sign, get the AI feature list for your specific configuration in writing. We have watched other vendors gate their best AI behind upper tiers, Sierra Interactive excludes its Lead Engage texting from its cheapest plan, for example, so “the platform has an AI Assistant” and “your package includes the AI Assistant” are not the same sentence.

The legacy kvCORE price map

Because kvCORE carried its name for 16 years, stale kvCORE numbers still dominate the SERP. The Close’s 2024-06-05 piece, written essentially at the rebrand boundary, reported kvCORE at $499 to $1,800 per month. Use that only as historical context: it tells you the reported floor has stayed near $499 across the transition, while today’s reported enterprise ceiling ($5,000 plus) reflects the bigger consolidated bundle, since BoldTrail now packages what used to be three separate products (kvCORE, Brokermint, BoomTown) into one quote.

If you are Googling “kvcore pricing” in 2026, this page is the answer: kvCORE no longer exists as a product you can buy. The rebrand was announced 2024-06-20, and the rollout reached roughly 500,000 users from summer 2024 onward.

The migration risk nobody prices in

Here is the part of the cost picture that no demo call will volunteer. The consolidation that created BoldTrail also created migration friction, and some of it is documented in public complaints. We present these as allegations, not established facts, but they are exactly the diligence material a buyer should see before signing.

  • A BBB complaint dated October 2025 alleges the buyer was “mis-lead to actually sign a contract with Inside Real Estate” while believing they were signing up for a rebranded BoomTown, and says there is “no Boomtown at all” in the product they received.
  • The BoomTown ROI profile on BBB carries further 2025 complaints: one dated 2025-04-08 alleges being forced into a new agreement to add agents, one dated 2025-05-02 alleges a “bait and switch” on CRM data transfer, and one dated 2025-05-21 disputes an auto-renewal, citing Florida Statute 501.165.
  • A Capterra broker review from February 2025 claims the new owners “force everyone over to their new products or you can watch your business die.”

For context on the name itself: Keller Williams sued Inside Real Estate in January 2025 over the BoldTrail name’s similarity to KW’s BOLD training program, per Inman.

None of this means BoldTrail is a bad platform. It means the contract entity, the product you think you are buying, the data migration scope, and the renewal terms all deserve a careful read, because the reported disputes cluster in exactly those four places. If the complaint pattern is itself a dealbreaker for you, we map the switch options in BoldTrail alternatives, and several rivals in our Ylopo alternatives guide publish their prices outright.

Saru says: Auto-renewal disputes keep showing up in this category’s complaint records. Whatever platform you pick, calendar the renewal notice deadline the day you sign, not the month the renewal hits.

What to negotiate before you sign

Since every BoldTrail contract is quote-specific, per Luxury Presence’s 2026 reporting, your leverage is at the quote stage. Bring this list:

  1. Term length and early termination. Confirm the initial term, the early termination fee, and whether it is a flat fee or the remaining contract value.
  2. Renewal mechanics. Get the auto-renewal window and the cancellation notice period in writing. The 2025 complaint record makes this the single highest-value paragraph in the contract.
  3. The itemized module list. Which of Platform, BackOffice, Recruit, and Marketplace are in your price, and what each costs to add later.
  4. AI feature inclusion. Have the rep list AI Assistant, HomeSearch AI, Smart CRM, and Marketing Autopilot inclusion for your package specifically.
  5. Onboarding and migration scope. The reported $999 setup and $1,000 to $5,000 implementation figures are estimates; get your real number, plus a written data migration plan if you are coming from BoomTown, kvCORE, or a rival CRM.
  6. Total cost of ownership. Ask the rep to model your all-in monthly including recommended ad spend, then compare that number, not the platform fee, against alternatives like Follow Up Boss, which publishes flat per-user rates.

Our verdict on BoldTrail pricing

BoldTrail in 2026 is a quote-only platform with a reported floor around $499 per month solo, a reported team band of $499 to $2,500 depending on size, and enterprise deals reported up to $5,000 plus, with roughly $1,000 to $5,000 in one-time implementation and ad spend always extra. The bundle is genuinely broad, kvCORE’s front office plus Brokermint’s back office is a real operating system for a brokerage, and the officially named AI layer (AI Assistant, HomeSearch AI) is included in the story if not always, verifiably, in every package.

But the pricing opacity is total, and the 2025 complaint record around migrations and renewals means the contract deserves more scrutiny than the demo. Budget the all-in number, negotiate the six points above, and if published pricing matters to you, weigh the switch targets before the sales call rather than after.

What it costs to leave, which no pricing page mentions

Switching cost is why landlords and managers stay on systems they have outgrown. In this category it is unusually concrete, which means you can ask about it precisely.

What does not transfer when changing platforms: payment authorisations, history, audit trail and integrations
Count the integrations before you sign rather than when you leave. The number is always higher than anyone remembers.

Recurring payment authorisations rarely transfer

This is the big one. Tenant records, leases and ledgers export from almost any platform. Live recurring payment authorisations and the stored bank or card details behind them generally do not, which means every resident on autopay has to re-enrol. A share will not, and you will chase rent you were previously collecting automatically. Ask about this in writing during procurement, when you still have leverage.

Ask exactly what a full export contains

Standard fields usually come out cleanly. What often does not is the maintenance history with its photographs and correspondence, the document store of signed leases and addenda, the accounting history in a form your accountant can actually use, and the audit trail of who changed what. Ask for a sample export file during the trial rather than a description of one.

The accounting cutover has a right time and many wrong ones

Move at a period boundary, ideally the start of a financial year, and never mid-month with rent in flight. Plan to run a parallel reconciliation for one full cycle, and budget the hours for it. Migrations that go badly almost always went live at a convenient calendar date rather than a sensible accounting one.

Count the integrations before you sign, not when you leave

Listing syndication, accounting, screening providers, e-signature, banking, insurance and any owner portal are each work to disconnect and reconnect elsewhere. The count is always higher than anyone remembers, and it is the part that turns a two week migration into a six month one.

Where the figures on this page come from

Every price here was read from the vendor’s own pricing page on 4 September 2026, not from an aggregator or a review site. Each figure carries that date, because pricing in this market moves and a claim without a date is not checkable.

The pages we read

Buildium publishes $62, $192 and $400 a month plus a detailed fee schedule. DoorLoop publishes $69, $149 and $209 a month billed yearly with per unit equivalents. TurboTenant publishes a free tier plus $12.42 and $16.48. TenantCloud publishes $15 to $50 a month on annual billing. RentRedi publishes $12 a month on the annual plan. Hemlane, Rentec Direct and Landlord Studio all publish in full, as do Follow Up Boss at $69 per user, Wise Agent at $49, and Placester from $59.

The ones we could not read

AppFolio, Innago, Top Producer and Hostaway did not yield a figure to the same method that read every vendor above, and Lofty’s pricing page carried no plan rates. We are not presenting that as proof they publish nothing, because a failed read is not evidence of absence. Treat any figure for those five from elsewhere as unverified.

What we do not do

We do not carry a figure we cannot source to the vendor. Where a number circulates and cannot be traced, we say so and withdraw it rather than repeating it with a hedge, and we have withdrawn our own published figures on that basis more than once.
